EHL takes aim at ‘gluten-free’ market

05 February 2016

An ingredients manufacturer have launched gluten-free ground cumin and ground coriander.

EHL Ingredients said the new products were in response to demand for more ‘free from’ products.

“Our conventional ground cumin and ground coriander ingredients are performing well, so we wanted to offer these popular products to tap in to the growing demand for gluten-free foods,” said Tasneem Backhouse, sales director at EHL Ingredients.

“We’re aiming to launch an entire range of gluten-free ingredients which will appeal to manufacturers looking to service the health-conscious consumer market.”

The company said it had seen a 10 per cent spike in sales since the launch of gluten-free ingredients.
