A recipe for sweet success: tna showcases complete confectionery capabilities at ProSweets 2016

tna demonstrates its expertise and expansive capabilities with a complete line of innovative equipment solutions for the confectionery industry at ProSweets 2016.

Thanks to the innovation station’s advanced touchscreen technology, visitors can unwrap the features, benefits and specifications for individual pieces of tna equipment, zoom in for a more detailed view, zoom out for an entire production line overview and watch product videos. All for a truly interactive experience without getting their hands sticky! Alongside on-stand product demonstrations, visitors can also discuss their specific requirements with tna’s global team of experts, including Andre Tombult (general manager – Central Europe) and Mark Lozano (sales manager – North America).

Sweet solutions
The centrepiece of the exhibition will be tna’s flagship high speed vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) packaging machine, the tna robag® FX 3ci. Visitors will see the equipment in action and witness live how tna provides the ultimate performance and flexibility in confectionery packaging. Compact and easy-to-clean, the robag system is designed to package at top speeds from a single tube with triple rotary jaw action for a wide range of confectionery products from loose sugar-coated fruit sweets to pre-wrapped chocolate-covered hazelnuts. As a result, this cutting edge bagger ensures optimum productivity by improving performance up to 30 percent in terms of output and reducing the number of rejects, while achieving throughput rates never before thought possible. 

In addition, tna has made it even easier and more efficient to operate its robag by simplifying the film system with its revolutionary tna robag auto-splice system. A key feature of the company’s tna robag range, the auto-splice head increases packaging efficiency and product throughput by automatically switching to a new roll, reducing the need for manual intervention. This help manufacturers to reduce film wastage as well as maximise performance and cut overall costs on the manufacturing line when bagging confectionery. Such innovations are all part of tna’s complete packaging solution for confectionery manufacturers.

On stand, attendees can interact with tna experts to learn more about the tna robag’s additional innovative add-on features. These include the tna intelli-weigh® omega 0128 scale, the patented tna hyper-detect® metal detector and tna intelli-read® bar code verification scanning system. 

The company will also present its comprehensive controls integration and SCADA reporting technology; plus its extensive range of integrated controls solutions, site support, project management and training services.
