AxFlow UK’s new Mouvex SLC Series eccentric disc pump is designed for multiple fluid handling applications within the food and sanitary industries
Delivering high volumetric efficiency whilst maintaining its gentle fluid handling characteristics the Mouvex SLC Series provides higher differential pressures ranging between 6 and 16 bar, a light and compact design and a close-coupled drive option.
The eccentric disc technology that is unique to Mouvex SLC Series pumps produces the pumping performance of a positive displacement pump, creating a flow that is independent of both pressure and viscosity.
This makes it ideally suited to applications where the pumped media contains soft solids and has variable consistency. Its many advantages include a seal-free design, self-priming, low shear and low agitation of the pumped product, line-stripping, the ability to run dry for up to five minutes and CIP capability. Applications include handling thin, erosive and higher viscosity fluids (10,000cps).
Providing a maximum flowrate of 3m³/h and suitable for close-coupled configuration, Mouvex SLC pumps can be configured with both fixed and variable speed drives.
